Mannheim, 22/03/2016. IFIS&IZ strongly condemns the brutal and insidious terrorist attack in Brussels today in the morning. The attack occurred at the airport of Brussels and the underground station in the city of Brussels. We are shocked about the brutality of the attack. There is no justification for such an act of violence.
This attacks stands in strong contradiction to the principles and values of Islam and the message of our Prophet. Our Creator of all commands the respect of His diverse creation. As such, this act is an attack on our society and joint future and absolutely not acceptable.
Our thoughts are with the families of the victims in Brussels, Paris, Ankara, and Istanbul. We share the grief and the pain of the families and bereaved.
We hope that these absurd actions of violence will have soon an end and that the people can live together in peace and harmony.
