Prof. Dr. Hüseyin İlker Çınar (IFIS&IZ founding director / Chair holder for Tafsir at University of Osnabrück) has welcomed a delegation of the University of Heidelberg to elaborate scientific collaborations. Together with Prof. Prof. Dr. Gerrit Kloss (Dean of the Philosophical Faculty), Prof. Dr. Werner Arnold (Director for Semitic Studies), and Prof. em. Dr. Raif Georg Khoury – Professor for Islamic Studies touchpoints for a scientific cooperation between IFIS&IZ and University of Heidelberg have been discussed. After the intensive and fruitful discussions both parties agreed to intensify the scientific cooperation.
