IFIS&IZ congratulates all Muslims on the occassion of Mawlid (the Prophet Muhammad’s pbuh birthday)

According to the Islamic moon calendar the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has been born on the 12th night of the third month Rabīʿ al-awwal. The birthday of the Prophet (pbuh) (arab.: maulid an-nabī; türk.: Mevlid Kandili) is considered as one of the five blessed nights in the Islamic tradition and will be celebrated this year in the night of 2nd January to 3rd Januar 2015 as the 1444th arniversary.

Because of this blessed ocassion IFIS&IZ  congratulates to all Muslims wishes that this night might bring peace, solidarity, justice and mercy to the people. May this day an occassion to remember the universal message and teachings of the last Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to follow His example stronger and more sincere. The noble Qur’an says about Prophet Muhammed (pbuh): “And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds (Qur’an: 21/107) and says about Him that He has the complete character and is a perfect example (al-uswat al-ḥasana) for all people: “There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often. (Qur’an 33/21)
